The performance study of 9FA gas turbine combined cycle

The paper investigates the performance of a General Electric F technology combined cycle with three-pressure,reheat steam cycle heat recovery steam generator(HRSG).A model of the HRSG is proposed using effectiveness-NTU analytical method,and the models of other components such as gas turbine,steam turbine,condenser etc.are also included.The efficiency of combined cycle can be improved about 0.4% by optimizing the steam cycle parameters.Decreasing the feedwater temperature can also increase the efficiency.Optimal steam pressure under partial load and the effect of seasons on the combined cycle performance are also analyzed.
