The backup information processing method includes: receiving first backup information which is generated according to the selected interface information, the displayed content information and the position information of the content information in the selected interface and is transmitted by the terminal; editing the content information and the position information in the first backup information according to instructions of a user to generate second backup information; when the terminal needs backup recovery, sending the second backup information to the terminal to allow the terminal to create corresponding content information at corresponding position of the selected interface according to the second backup information. The backup information processing method is suitable for mobile terminals.
