The application prospects of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics in the field of transducers

The core component of the most mature and reliable piezoelectric transducer in the transducer is the lead zirconate titanate piezoelectric ceramic containing a large amount of toxic lead. Therefore, it is hoped to develop a lead-free piezoelectric ceramic that is harmless to the human body and the environment to replace it. The three types of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics with the best performance are reviewed, including barium titanate(BT), potassium sodium niobate(KNN) and bismuth sodium titanate (BNT)ceramics. Compare the performance of lead zirconate titanate(PZT) ceramics, and put forward some suggestions for further improving the performance of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics.
