A Field Trial of a Bentonite Landfill Liner
暂无分享,去创建一个
Field and laboratory trials were carried out for a bentonite amended weathered granite landfill liner. The trials were undertaken to gain experience in the installation method, and to establish the appropriate mixing techniques and mix design. It was established that a bentonite-amended weathered granite liner could be constructed on steep slopes. This paper presents the results of the trials, which included both field and laboratory permeability testing. It was found that the success of a soil bentonite liner is critically dependent on the mixture having the right moisture content at the time of compaction.
