A scheduling algorithm for maximum throughput based on the link condition in heterogeneous network

Nowadays, a lot of wireless interfaces can be used by mobile users to access the Internet, such as WLAN, WiMAX, WIFI and even 3G. If a mobile terminal is equipped with multiple interfaces, it can use them simultaneously to improve the performance at the hot point where different RANs (Radio Access Networks) overlap. This paper proposes a scheduling algorithm based on the link condition that ensures the whole network has the maximum throughput. Simulation is also done to show the improvement of throughput with this scheduling algorithm.
