Integrated Decision Method of Operation Schemes for Limiting Short-circuit Currents in District Grids

An integrated decision method of operation schemes for limiting short-circuit currents in district grids is presented. This method starts with the process of simplified optimization. Under the premise of the integrity of power grid, the superior set of feasible alternatives for limiting short-circuit currents is rapidly sought based on the weighted sensitivity. Then, the detailed evaluation is implemented. Considering the relationship of short-circuit current level and system stability, this paper establishes an evaluation model based on analytic network process. Using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the optimal scheme can be determined from the set of feasible alternatives. Considering short-circuit current level, transient voltage security and static power flow distribution, the integrated decision priority represents the systematic, comprehensive and quantitative assessment. The feasibility and practicability of the proposed method is verified by the simulation of Jinan power grid.
