A three-joint neck mechanism of an android robot is provided to ensure 3 DOF(Degree Of Freedom) in a limited space and to keep the inner and outer skin in their positions during movement. A three-joint neck mechanism(11) of an android robot is made up of three driver modules, each including a motor and a reducer for implementing 3 DOF of the android robot. The two of the driver modules are located in the neck part of the robot, and the rest is located in the other part. The drive power is transferred through a power transmission such as belt and link.
