Bibliographies scientifiques : de la recherche d'informations à la production de documents normés. (Scientific bibliographies : from information retrieval to standardized bibliographies)

La litterature scientifique alimente la reflexion de chaque chercheur dans son processus de production. Par certains cotes, les productions scientifiques forment la base de la recherche, car elles en sont la matiere premiere. Dans un cycle ou chaque article, s’inspirant lui meme d’autres productions, sera lu et commente par des chercheurs qui le citeront pour demontrer la solidite de leur raisonnement, l’ecrit sera tour a tour une production finie, reactualisee et toujours une source d’inspiration. La recherche documentaire est aujourd’hui quasiment informatiquement automatisee, de la premiere etape d’etablissement du perimetre de recherche jusqu’a la consultation des documents, voire a la mise en forme de la bibliographie issue. Les centres documentaires, notamment universitaires, se sont adaptes a cette constatation en informatisant leurs catalogues et les inter-connectant. Notre travail de recherche s’inscrit dans la problematique de la definition de modeles informationnels dans le cadre de donnees bibliographiques. Nous specialisons notre propos a la documentation scientifique en informatique et sciences connexes. Dans cette these nous commencons par analyser les aspects psycho-cognitifs du besoin d’information et de la structuration de la recherche documentaire qui en decoule. Nous poursuivons par la presentation des modeles et methodes de recherche d’information. Une partie pratique presente les outils et protocoles qui forment la partie technologique de la gestion documentaire scientifique. Nous realisons un outil graphique d’assistance a la recherche d’articles scientifiques, en adequation avec les besoins cognitifs de l’usager et les nouvelles pratiques de documentation. Apres evaluation, cet outil est generalise sous la forme d’un modele de bonnes pratiques.
