Application and improvement study on FMEA in the process of military equipment maintenance

This thesis deeply analyzes the process of equipment maintenance and investigates maintenance fault modes, influencing factors which lead to maintenance fault. Through the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of the traditional PFMEA, combining the characteristics of the repair process, it explores the MP-FMEA analysis method, researches the related concepts, and then puts forward improvements to the traditional RPN method of calculating. It also introduces new factors and extends the original RPN meaning, forms system, a reasonable analysis of the process, and makes the repair process more comprehensive. Finally, it makes the brake operating components of a certain type of military aircraft maintenance process for the target fault mode and effect analysis (MP-FMEA) case to verify the reasonableness of the method.
