Product representation for an expert process planning system for rotational components

EXCAP, is a knowledge-based process planning system for rotational components. EXCAP uses its own internal product model coded in Prolog to ensure that all the required information can be represented accurately. This internal product model is called the EXCAP model and is described in detail in this paper.
