The Balanced Scorecard of the Swedish Police Service: 7000 officers in total quality management project

In 1998, seven police authorities set up a comprehensive development project together with the Swedish National Police Board entitled ‘the Balanced Scorecard of the Swedish Police’. The aim of this project was to find ways to improve the analysis, planning, management and follow-up of the work performed by the authorities involved.
