Fixed point theory for generalized'-weak contractions

(1.1)The concept of the weak contraction was defined by Alber and Guerre-Delabriere [1] in 1997. Actually in [1], the authorsdefined such mappings for single-valued maps on Hilbert spaces and proved the existence of fixed points. Rhoades [6]showed that most results of [1] are still true for any Banach space. Also Rhoades [6] proved the following very interestingfixed point theorem which is one of generalizations of the Banach contraction principle because it contains contractions asspecial cases (
