Software for Stator Winding Temperature Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis on Large Turbo-generator

Blockage of hollow strands is one of the most common faults with the stator in large water-cooled turbo-generator.And on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis constitute the basis of predictive maintenance. Based on the thermal modeling of cooling circuit, this paper briefly introduces the functional modules of the software developed in VJ++. Functions of the software include: querying and displaying of water temperature at the bar outlet end, plotting temperature curves, plotting temperature error curves, transverse and longitudinal comparison of fingerprints, and primary fault diagnosis.
