Spice models of memristive devices forming a model of Hodgkin-Huxley axon

It has been known since 1976 that the famous Hodgkin-Huxley circuit model of the nerve axon membrane contains two time-invariant memristive one-port elements, the so-called potassium and sodium ion-channel memristors. The paper describes the construction of SPICE models of these memristors and shows that they exhibit typical fingerprints of memristive systems.
