The invention discloses a continuous power supply method for external carriers and terminal equipment. The method comprises the following step: after the terminal equipment is switched from a first operating system to a second operating system, a proxy external carrier application is generated in the second operating system such that the proxy external carrier application is associated with external carriers. Thus, by means of the proxy external carrier application, the external carriers which are associated with an application in the first operating system before the above switching operation are continuously powered after the above switching operation.
