차세대 냉각탑용 7.5마력 자기-기어드 송풍팬 모터의 성능특성에 관한 연구

This paper gives a basic data on the development of a cooling fan device that is driven by a magnetic-geared motor. Conventional mechanical reduction gear caused the noise and vibration by mechanical contact, the efficiency of mechanical reduction gear is low and decreases the lifetime and reliability of the system. The developing magnetic-geared motor doesn't need a separated mechanical reduction gear unit because of the integrated magnetic gear in motor. In the integrated magnetic gear in motor there is no mechanical wear and gear lubrication is not required because of no mechanical contact. In addition, the effect of noise and vibration is relatively small. Thanks to advantages of lightness in weight and direct drive at a low speed this magnetic-geared motor will be able to replace the general cooling fan motor with the reduction gear unit in future.
