Analysis and Comparison on Method of Plotting Sensor Sensitivity Field for Electrical Capacitance Tomography System

Sensor sensitivity field in Electrical Capacitance Tomography is affected by the distribution of multiphase medium, the soft field characteristic brings out great difficulty for image reconstruction, so it is necessary to analyze the distribution of the sensitivity field to improve the quality of the image reconstruction. The object of this paper is major in the research of 8-electrode oil-water two-phase flows Electrical Capacitance Tomography system,, finite element method is used, and the rule of plotting the sensitive field is put forward after analyzing and comparing the result of the sensitive field based on the two different plotting patterns, triangle unit and quadrangle unit. It is proved that the role of plotting the sensitive field is effective and simulation result would be better and precise if adopting unequal interval plotting patterns by computer simulation and analysis of experiments.
