A soft decoder vector quantizer for a noisy channel

We present a soft decoder for vector quantization over a binary input AWGN channel. The decoder gives better performance than standard hard decoding without any increased complexity. In designing the decoder, the concepts of soft bits and soft Hadamard columns are introduced.<<ETX>>
