4×4 Optical Multicast Using Active Vertical Coupler based Optical Crosspoint Switch Matrix

4×4 optical multicast using crosspoint switch matrix is investigated. Power penalty of 8.5 dB and 2 dB gain per increase of input scale are found. Measured results confirm the excellent multicast characteristics.
