A fully scalable, asynchronous parallel MLFMA

An asynchronous and scalable parallel MLFMA framework was developed and incorporated into two independent full wave solvers (two and three dimensional). The asynchronous technique allows for an efficient parallelization of complex geometries consisting of multiple dielectric or PEC objects on a reasonably cheap parallel machine. The framework also allows for different partitioning schemes (spatial, hybrid and hierarchical) to be utilized. Only the hierarchical scheme can lead to a fully scalable parallel algorithm. The source code of the framework and the solvers is presented to the electromagnetic community as an open source package under GPL license.
