A general router for analog layout

The authors present a software tool for the automatic routing of analog layouts that can deal with most problems associated with analog routing, such as symmetric circuit architectures, proximity constraints, and control over the parasitic parameters. The routing strategy (based on a modified version of Lee's algorithm) and the high-level user interface are presented. Results are reported, with examples of circuits with peculiar architectures correctly routed by this tool.<<ETX>>
