Development of Decision Support System for the Environmental and Energy Problem by the Simulation Game

Abstract The energy problem involves a diversity of social, economical, environmental, and industrial sectors all of which must be taken into consideration. In order to find a local equilibrium situation we develop a simulation model for regional society which includes the various factors stated above. Using the simulation model and a micro-computer we play a simulation game and extract Knowledge about decision makers who are specialists in the sectors. Using the gaming results we look for improved decision making processes and policies.
