Valorisation of dredged sands in road engineering

This work falls under the context of the valorisation of dredged sands, which are found in considerable quantity in the ports or the access channels. This sedimentation implies a lot of navigation problems. Civil Engineering is traditionally a recycling way of this kind of materials. The present study is interested more particularly in valorisation in road engineering. With this intention, the study comprises several stages. Both complete chemical and mineralogical characterisation and determination of the polluting potential are carried out. Components necessary for the development of the road gravel are then identified following mechanical performances seek. Economical criteria are also taken into account.
