Two new species of the genus Tanytarsus van der Wulp (Diptera: Chironomidae) from Fennoscandia

Two new Tanytarsini species from Finland and Sweden are described and illustrated. Males of Tanytarsus desertor new species of the mendax species group and Tanytarsus trux new species of the lugens group are diagnosed and compared with their closest relatives.
