FERROELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF TANTALUM SUBSTITUTED BISMUTH TITATANT CERAMICS

ABSTRACT Ta substituted Bi4Ti3O12 ceramics samples at B-Site [Bi4Ti3-xTaxO12 (BTT) x = 0, 0.006, 0.01, 0.02] were prepared by conventional solid state reaction method. The structure and ferroelectric properties were studied by x-ray diffraction, ferroelectric and dielectric measurement. The BTT ceramics have a largest 2Pr about 30 μC/cm2 at x = 0.006.
