Robots in challenging environments

The work describes the research advances by the Robotics, Perception and Real-Time Group of University of Zaragoza (Spain) in the field of ground robotics in confined environments. This type of environment presents several special characteristics that often make well-established techniques fail. The aim is to present the main challenges, the developed solutions, and the lessons learned.
