파워 소비와 데이터 손실을 줄이기 위한 하이브리드 센서네트워크 설계

In sensor network, most nodes need battery support. In order to transmit data to distance of hundreds meter, the technology of Multi-Hop routing is essential. However, performing the routing algorithm requires a large amount of power consumption. In addition, there also exists a disadvantage of bottleneck phenomenon on a specific node in Many-to-one communication environment. So in this paper, we proposed a hybrid network composed of WAN and WLAN to deal with the problems stated above in sensor network. Sensor network using a Hop could be used for data transmission under condition of short distance of meters while WLAN could be used for communication in situation of long distance of hundreds meter. In order to connect the sensor network with the WLAN, we have designed a special Sink node as well as a Gateway. The information collected from each sensor will be transmitted to the remote PC through WPAN, Gateway and WLAN.
