Biodiversity management system in Rodna Mountains National Park

This paper presents the achievement of a monitoring and prediction system, with the purpose of strengthening the biodiversity act in Rodna Mountains National Park. Furthermore, we consider implementing a distributed monitoring system, consisting of portable tracking devices, applied to target animal populations within the protected areas. Optimization methods for adaptive management, ensuring the conservation of biodiversity in the park, development of prediction strategies for biodiversity evolution, based on computer science tools and advanced mathematical methods.
