Absolute Imaging of Magnetic Induction Tomography Based on Perturbation in Tank Phantom

Magnetic induction tomography (MIT) is able to get the conductivity distribution of the subject in a cross-section by the contactless way. This advantage of MIT can be used to obtain the absolute imaging using difference reconstruction method. By our data acquisition system of MIT, we measured the data of one conductivity perturbation object in a saline solution tank. When the background was the air region, we got the absolute conductivity distribution images. From the imaging results, the conductivity perturbation object immerged in a tank and the air region could be distinguished respectively and the position of the object contrast to the saline tank was also demonstrated.
