Several Confusable Problems in Teaching of Digital Signal Processing

Digital Signal Processing is one of the most important courses for underground students related to the electronic and information specialty.Due to the characteristic of the course,such as strong theory and practicability,abstract in concept,it is difficult to understand.In this paper,several confusable problems are analyzed,such as the stability condition and causality condition of the discrete system,the folding and shifting operation and the Z transform,the convolution and the correlation,four kinds of Fourier transforms,the symmetry relation of Fourier transform,the high-density spectrum and the high-resolution spectrum.Through the examples,the contrastive method and Matlab experiments,the theory and appli-cations are explained in detail.
