The dynamics of the recursive sequence xn+1 = (alpha xn-1) / (beta + gamma xn-2p)

Abstract In this paper, we investigate the global behavior of the difference equation x n + 1 = α x n − 1 β + γ x n − 2 p , n = 0 , 1 , … , with non-negative parameters and non-negative initial conditions.
