Deployment of MUTCD Light Rail Traffic Control Devices to Improve Safety at At-Grade Light Rail Crossings in Baltimore, Maryland

This paper presents the findings of a light rail traffic safety study performed for the Howard Street Corridor in the City of Baltimore, Maryland (USA) from the intersection of I-395/Howard Street at Conway Street to the intersection of Mount Royal Avenue at Dolphin Street. The scope of this study consists of a 1.90-mile section on Howard Street including seventeen (17) signalized intersections.
