The Pushover analysis and optimization of compound structure for new residence

Based on Pushover analysis, the new compound structure would be estimated for seismic fortification properties and optimized on members' sections. The compound structure that beam and column sections are 250 mm × 250 mm and braces section is 120 mm × 120 mm with normal steel ratio would satisfy seismic and ductile requirements of 9 seismic fortification intensity and anti - collapse of 8 rare earthquake . The energy dissipation mechanism of the structure is belong to " mixed mechanism" . Because the positions and orders of plastic hinges are braces, and then beams ends, at last columns ends, the seismic fortification requirements are attained to "stronger columns, medium beams, and week braces" . The weakest position of the structure is first floor, but it satisfies requirement of displacement between floors. It is reasonable that the ratio of braces and columns is between 4 - 10. At last, the structural sections are optimized.
