This paper is aimed at the three-dimensional (3-D) reconstruction of coronary networks in biplane angiography. A new approach is proposcd to solve the matching problem when a limited numbcr of vicws is used. I t is based on thc full reconstruction of all possible 3-D networks and the use of knowledge to select one of them. First, the presentation is focused on the method IO generate the networks. Thcn, the way to extract the best solutions by applying a few 3-D geometric criteria is reported.
