Parameter analysis of safety in store separation

The trajectory of external stores separating from aircraft was computed in different flight conditionswith the quasi-steady method. In every step, the flow fields of external stores and aircraft were regarded as steadyand the aerodynamic forces acting on stores were calculated with the CFD method while keeping in the aircraft flightinitial states.A 6 DOF rigid body model was used to compute the trajectory resulting from the combination of thestores mass properties and aerodynamic loading.Separation of a generic wing-pylon-store configuration was givenand comparisons were demonstrated in flight states of different Mach number, altitude and attitude of aircraft.Thesafe separating effected by elements was concluded, and suggestions about risk-reduction were given.
