Comparison of indoor path loss for 1925 MHz and 866 MHz

We present results from propagation measurements made at two frequencies, 866 MHz and 1925 MHz, in the same office building at the BNR site at Harlow. These two frequencies are those used for CT2 in Europe (866 MHz) and in the US (1925 MHz). Experimental CT2 base stations were used, with internal polarisation diversity antennas (with approximately ±45 degree polarisations). The base stations were wall mounted, and have generally similar radiation pattern coverage in the azimuth plane at the two frequencies. In our measurements, the possible dependences on polarisation are investigated. (5 pages)
