EUCLID RTP9.1 SAR Special Modes: ScanSAR.

In this report the basic principles of the ScanSAR mode and the main differences to the conventional stripmap mode were explained. The basic theory of the ScanSAR concerning image quality and, therefore, the value for the image interpreters, as well as the development of the algorithms and the implementation into the corresponding software modules were derived.
