H ∞-control with state-feedback

In this chapter we formulate and solve the H ∞-control problem with state-feedback for the Pritchard-Salamon class. In particular, we show that under certain conditions there exists a state-feedback that solves the sub-optimal H ∞-control problem if and only if there exists a solution to a certain operator Riccati equation. The main result is given in Section 4.1 (see Theorem 4.4) and proved in Section 4.2.
