Simulation study of single phase auto reclosing in ultra-high voltage power transmission line

Single phase auto reclosing has close relation with overvoltage of power system.At first,this paper studies that the over-voltage based power frequency is restraint by using the shunt reactors and arrester.Then the mechanism of over-voltage production is analyzed on the conditions of double sources connected with long line without shunt reactors.The distributing voltage along the line with reactor connection is analyzed at the meantime.This paper makes single phase auto reclosing's PSCAD simulation and introduces the best position of installing arrester and influence of arrester for overvoltage.
