Single versus complementary switches: a discussion of clock feedthrough in S.C. circuits

The switches of a S.C. circuit can be built either with one single MOS transistor, or by having one NMOS and one PMOS transistor connected together (complementary switches). In this paper, the two alternatives are compared with respect to clock feedthrough; it is shown, both by simulations and measurements, that single switches result in lower offset than complementary switches.
