High-throughput DCT and IDCT hardware multiplexing structure suitable for HEVC standard

The invention belongs to the technical field of high-definition digital video compressing, coding and decoding and particularly relates to a configurable high-throughput DCT and IDCT hardware multiplexing structure under an HEVC video coding standard. DCT can remove the space redundancy information of an image, the image compression efficiency is improved, IDCT is the inverse process of the DCT, DCT and IDCT calculation is needed in a coder, IDCT calculation is needed in a decoder, the improvement on the DCT and the IDCT through a certain algorithm can be achieved through a set of hardware, and compared with independent achieving of the DCT and the IDCT, the hardware expenses can be greatly reduced through the multiplexing structure. The configurable high-throughput DCT and IDCT hardware multiplexing structure is achieved based on a transformation unit (TU), four kinds of TUs of 4*4, 8*8, 16*16 and 32*32 are supported, the TUs are allowed by the HEVC, the fixed throughput rate can be achieved, and the DCT and the IDCT can be supported at the same time. The hardware achieving expenses of the DCT and the IDCT can be effectively reduced, the fixed high throughput rate can be achieved, and therefore real-time coding of a high-definition video can be efficiently achieved.
