Development of SOA Based Equipments Maintenance Decision Support System

Nowadays equipment maintenance represents a significant and important task to ensure that plant facilities continue to function properly, so an Integrated Intelligent Equipment Maintenance Decision(IIEMD) platform based on Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) environment is studied and developed to support collaborative maintenance decision, remote equipment diagnosis, and so on. Firstly, an ontology-supported hybrid conceptual architecture of IIEMD is provided. Secondly, SOA based layered IIEMD framework architecture is given. Thirdly, an ontology based knowledge base construction method, mixed inference process combining RBR and CBR studied. Last, based on the previous theory studies, an equipments maintenance decision support system prototype was developed.
