Analysis of geometric fatigue stresses in slender web plates

Abstract An approximate analysis of geometric fatigue stresses in slender web plates subjected to repeated shear loading is described. Theoretical predictions are compared with available test results, which are also analysed in accordance with Eurocode 3 fatigue assessment procedures.
