GUI implementation of real time feedback system to learn singing

Singing is an act of producing musical sound with the voice. It is an integral part of Indian culture. Right from old era of mythological period to various medieval periods, we saw different genre and varieties of singers. The art of singing in India also varies from region to region and from one gharanas to another. It can be done as religious devotion, as a source of pleasure or ritual or as a part of music education. It has been found out that singing has many health benefits too. To master the art of singing, one requires time, dedication, instructions and regular practice. But the availability of music guru in small cities in India is very less and the cost of singing classes is not affordable by all. Hence an attempt is made to create a virtual music teacher which will interact in real time with the learner by giving real time feedback to the user about the note being sung. It will perform various analysis of the voice sample sung and will generate useful result. This will help one introspect ones voice and improve it over regular practice.
