Music video generation method and system

The invention provides an automatic music video generation method and system based on relation between music and images. The method includes: acquiring music used for generating music video; subjecting the music to time sequence segmentation according to texture features of the music to obtain music clips; acquiring images, analyzing relevance between the music clips and the images to obtain related images corresponding to the music clips; generating the music video by taking the music clips and the related images as materials. According to the method and system, time sequence segmentation is performed on the music according to the texture features of the music, then quality and aesthetic evaluation is performed on content of the images by means of analyzing acquaintance degree between the images and the music, each piece of music is selected automatically and image content is recommended on the basis, animation effect is matched, and accordingly the music video is generated automatically. By the method and system, amateurs without professional knowledge can conveniently make the music video, and music video making quality and efficiency are improved.
