Performance Analysis of an M/M/1 Working Vacation Queue with Setup Times

We investigate an M/M/1 working vacation queue with setup times, using a quasi birth-and-death process and a matrix-geometric solution method to derive the distributions for the stationary queue length and the waiting time of a customer in the system. Furthermore, we get stochastic decomposition structures of stationary indices, and obtain the distributions of the additional queue length and additional delay. Finally, numerical examples are presented.
