The Social Systems Model: Building on Deming's Foundation

Deming provided us a System of Profound Knowledge. The Social Systems Model, pioneered by Russell Ackoff and others, extends and elaborates on Deming’s system. This paper presents the authors’ evolving understanding of the social systems model and its relationship to the teachings of Dr. Deming.
