Packaged Q band medium power amplifier

A packaged, medium-power, driver amplifier for the ETSI 42 GHz point-to-point radio band has been designed. The packaged part has a gain of 21 dB, OIP3 of 33 dBm, OIP5 of 28 dBm, noise figure of 5 dB and saturated output power of 25 dBm which, to our knowledge, is the best reported result to date for a packaged Q-band driver amplifier.
