Design and Realization of Signal Generator Based on DSP

This paper expounds the design and realization of signal generator based on TMS320VC5402 DSP. The hardware circuit structure and the program flow charts are also given in this paper. Unlike the general signal generators which are often mode fixed,it has unprogramable and low precision,this signal generator can generate complex waveforms,and the voltage and frequency of the signal generated by this signal generator are controlled by DSP programs which can be easily modified. In order to improve the independence of this DSP system and the flexibility of its application,the design of parallel boot (16 b) is also applied to the DSP system by insystem programming.
