Investigation of ultra wideband short-range radio wave propagation characteristics based on PSTD method

The pseudospectral time domain (PSTD) method and PML medium is applied to investigate the characteristics of ultra wideband (UWB) short-range radio wave propagation. A two-dimensional UWB source setup method is proposed to initialize the propagation of UWB Gaussian monocycle in a short-range environment such as some indoor environments. Numerical simulations confirm the suitability and efficiency of the PSTD method and some interesting results have been obtained.
